This is an implicit skill that our consciousness has to think, perceive, or feel into very small precise locations or very expanse locations. The location is essentially where the stream of attention is placed and we then explore, interact, or participate. For instance at a scientific level we can see molecular biology or space exploration as a direct result of attentional focus. Yet even at a personal level, I can place my attention on my feet for five to fifteen minutes and here my attention changed my experience in my feet or I can place my attention on the global experience of my skin and this too changes my experience. The act of telescoping attention is that it can be utilized all the time to feel, sense, or perceive innovative ways to relate, interact, or create in the world. Try experimenting with how your paper writing attention is like water. So where ever you pour it, there it is.
