Welcome to The Center for Advanced Learning Concepts wiki page!
This is where our community of participants can post and research our ever growing data base of Advanced Learning Concepts. To begin research go to our Title List link over to the left and explore there. If you would like to add to this wiki then sign up and become a member and begin sharing. Over my course of study, I have discovered so many learning tools, yet many of them are owned or have an intellectual property right placed on their use. At CALCO we would like to foster the attitude of open source, free exchange of these ideas, processes, and learning concepts; be they experiential or cognitive learning.
What exactly is an Advanced Learning Concept?
Advanced Learning concepts are processes that illuminate, transform, and cultivate discovery, curiosity, innovation, and insight. These could be, but not limited to: exercises, ideas, games, techniques, curriculum, or processes. The range of use is as broad as the definition of learning and at CALCO we find that learning is synonymous with the natural growth and development of being human. Learning is always occurring and with this wiki, we can share the many ways in which we have applied focused attention on our own learning process or our teaching process. With open sharing of learning we can collaboratively increase our capacity to learn, grow, and innovate. With this shared experience we will quickly advance our repertoire of responses to a changing world and learn new ways to relate and connect with this change in meaningful and intelligent ways.
